This one is amazing! Love the combination of nature and mechanical.

If you translate "nachtjager", it actually means night hunter ;-)

night hunter works- German night fighter squadrons were nachtjagers, hence the name (& Google/on-line translations- always hit & miss). And thank you- I looked for beetles for reference & found images of beetles that an artist had worked clock works into (damn it!!!!!) & almost decided to adandon the whole mecha idea. But decided, the idea came before the discovery of the other guy's work, & was just different enough...the mental hoops I find myself jumping through sometimes...

I love this! I am a big fan of insects and also neat mechanical devices (like the inside of a watch - which this kinda reminds me of).

The whole presentation of this is beautiful.

Well....it is the inside of a watch :)...the idea was some sort of weird juxtaposition of a German WW 2 nightfighter & a beetle. Glad you liked it :)
